What I do for DRR education and how I can contribute to this site
I'm joining in Lingkar association concern in disaster risk reduction issues. Since the disaster almost abroad Indonesia, I conscious that Disaster Risk Reduction is very important especially for mainstreaming it in our education system. But, however there still long way to the ideal and I believe that education base local is more relevant rather than huge scoope.

DRR Competencies

I'm currently working in the Philippines on various DRR projects with schools and am wondering what DRR competencies have been developed. So many DRR activities are undertaken and that's good. But what are the competencies that these projects/activities are based on? Have some been developed? If so, where would I find them?
