'What's the Plan Stan?' is a very interesting resource. It would be good to know how it was disseminated among the educational community. So for instance how were teachers using the resource? Were they trained in any way or directed to the resource by a formal curriculum? I would also be interested to what your team thinks of the resources that I put together (click on the curriculum sub-menu on the resources tab above) to support teaching and learning of hazards and preparedness in the UK, where overall perception is less, due to the infrequency of such events as the flooding in 2007.

DRR Competencies

I'm currently working in the Philippines on various DRR projects with schools and am wondering what DRR competencies have been developed. So many DRR activities are undertaken and that's good. But what are the competencies that these projects/activities are based on? Have some been developed? If so, where would I find them? I'd love to hear from folks, especially about DRR competencies related to schools. Thanks for any help you can give me. Beryl Cheal
